The work was scattered.
Oladotun Omotoso is a lawyer and software engineer. Working in and around legal practice, he kept seeing the same gap: a firm could be doing good legal work while the record of that work lived across WhatsApp messages, email, paper files and people’s memories.
The problem becomes urgent when a client asks for an update, a hearing is moved, a task changes hands or the firm needs to know what has been paid. FirmStack is built to give the team a place to find those answers and carry the next step forward.
We are working closely with a small number of pilot firms. Their day-to-day processes shape what we improve next; the aim is software that supports the way a Nigerian firm actually practises.
