FirmStack stories

A bill should tell you what is still owed

Send the bill in naira, record what comes in and know when to stop chasing the client.

The question after the bill goes out

A bill is sent, but payment may arrive in parts. Weeks later someone asks what the client has paid and what remains. If the answer depends on an inbox search and a spreadsheet someone forgot to update, the firm loses time and confidence in its own record.

Keep the balance visible

FirmStack lets a firm make and send a bill in naira, work out VAT where it applies, record payments and see the outstanding amount. The firm can choose automatic reminders at intervals of one, three or seven days. The reminders stop when the payment is recorded.

The client pays the firm directly. FirmStack records the billing history so a lawyer or accounts colleague can answer a straightforward question without reconstructing it from messages.

Use a real billing pattern in the pilot

Test a bill that is paid in two instalments. Check that the issue date, payment dates and balance are clear to the people who need them. This reveals whether the current billing handover works for your firm and where it needs more detail.
